We have pages on a variety of subjects, including theology, politics and literature. The main page on books and literature has links for several others on that topic. We also have pages on family history and genealogy. There are some pages on the history of the Liberal Party of South Africa, which forms part of the political history of South Africa

For reasons beyond our control we were forced to move our family web pages, and since it will take some time to get everything linked and working again, we are starting off with this new home page with basic information. You may find our old home page here, but many of the links may not work yet.

About us
Steve is a deacon in the Orthodox Church of South Africa, Archdiocese of Johannesburg and Pretoria, and Val works as financial manager of a security company. Steve is also a freelance editor and missiologist.
Family News
April 2007
Val finally has a new permanent job in Pretoria, working for the SA Medical Council. After working for ADT Security for many years (and its predecessirs Sentry Security and Astron Bexforce) she was transferred to their head office in Johannesburg, a drive of 50 km each way through heavy traffic, which could take up to 4 hours a day. She resigned in July 2006 and joined a start-up company based at the nearby Innovation Hub, but found she was being asked to do things that were unethical or illegal, so resigned after 5 months and did temporary work until getting the Medical Council job at the beginning of April 2007.
Our daughter Bridget is in Athens, studying for a masters degree in theology. Our sons Simon and Jethro are working in Pretoria.
